Rio penasco has been in business for 20 years we are the third generation of outfitters in our family and we offer excellent trophy harvest opportunity. Rio Penasco specializes in mobility impaired hunts, novice hunters, women hunters and children. Our main concentration of hunting is in the Lincoln National forest, unit 34 right next to the Mescalaro Apache Indian reservation in the south east portion of New Mexico. Our quality of animals and our service is one of the best combinations you will find anywhere in the U.S. The hunts will be conducted on public lands with the option to hunt private land. Our elevation is from 6,000 to 9,000 ft. We offer a variety of hunts including Elk, Deer, Audad/Barbary sheep, Antelope, Oryx, Bear, Javelina, Mountain Lion, Bobcat, Feral Hog, and Predator hunts.
